April Artist is watercolorist, Tahlia Day

April kinda snuck up on me! But it’s here now which means it’s time to announce Tahlia Day as our April featured artist!  In Tahlia’s words, she wants to “set the stage for viewers to imagine stories; I love fictional worldbuilding and I’m a major geek and lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy…. I layer watercolor, ink, and other media over random watercolor grounds to bring out shapes I see, and they gradually begin to resemble fantastical maps or topographical forms.”

Join us at Hatch Friday, April 8th from 6-9 pm for the Artist Reception. Wine and  beer will be available;)

Photographer Keith Dotson is March Artist

March is here!

Which means it’s time to announce our Featured Artist…. Keith Dotson! He is a photographer who works mainly in black and white. To quote Keith, “Nature is the fundamental basis of my art. My studio is the landscape in all its forms, from abstractions and patterns to bold, sweeping vistas (and even the urban landscape as well).”

Valentine’s Day is closing in…

Tonight (Friday) we are having a sweet reception featuring Nathan Gieseke’s work. He is a fabulous Blown Glass Artist who’s newest pieces are being featured tonight. He has made glass flowers which are very beautiful and surely won’t disappear into the compost bin in a week:) The flowers are showcased along with his blown glass vases, paperweights, and sculptural work. Stop by from 6-9pm, enjoy a glass of wine or PBR and check out ALL the wonderful gifts Hatch has in store for you and your sweetheart!
