Hatch Art House Featured in UW Madison Commercial

Hatch Art House was lucky enough to be chosen as a filming location in a new commercial for UW Madison to represent local businesses in and around Wisconsin! 

UW Grads can be farmers, engineers, and even art gallery owners!

The commercial is out now, so we’re sharing some highlights from the filming here and on social media. Have you seen the commercial yet?

Gallery Night with Emily Marie Watercolors – October 2024

For the month of October, Hatch Art House will be featuring the work of local watercolor artist Emily Schroeder of Emily Marie Watercolors, with an Artist Reception on Friday, October 4th from 5pm-9pm.

Based here in Madison, Emily is known for her watercolor pet portraits & botanical art, as well as a variety of instructional resources to help others learn to paint with watercolors.

The Artist Reception will coincide with MMoCA’s citywide Gallery Night, Friday, October 4th from 5pm-9pm.

Emily’s work will be showcased during store hours (Mon-Fri 11am-6pm, Sat 11am-5pm, Sun 11am- 4pm) for the entire month of October.

Gallery Night with Zoe Craig – November 2023

For the month of November, Hatch Art House will be featuring the work of local potter and printmaker Zoe Frances Craig, with an Artist Reception on Friday, November 3rd from 5pm-9pm.

Based in Viroqua, Zoe aims “to explore and communicate themes of place and landscape, including the smaller and larger ways that we all interact with and relate to the natural world and the things in it.” Both her ceramics and relief prints showcase this goal, pairing bold lines and shapes with delicate natural details.
