Gallery Night with Emily Marie Watercolors – October 2024

For the month of October, Hatch Art House will be featuring the work of local watercolor artist Emily Schroeder of Emily Marie Watercolors, with an Artist Reception on Friday, October 4th from 5pm-9pm.

Based here in Madison, Emily is known for her watercolor pet portraits & botanical art, as well as a variety of instructional resources to help others learn to paint with watercolors.

The Artist Reception will coincide with MMoCA’s citywide Gallery Night, Friday, October 4th from 5pm-9pm.

Emily’s work will be showcased during store hours (Mon-Fri 11am-6pm, Sat 11am-5pm, Sun 11am- 4pm) for the entire month of October.

EcoSquared Art Show 2024

Join Hatch Art House this July and August for another show of upcycled square art – the 2024 EcoSquared Art Show!

Hatch showcases a curated selection of various artworks by over 75 Wisconsin artists most of the year, but opens the front two walls of the gallery to all Wisconsin based artists for the EcoSquared show nearly every year since 2012.

EcoSquared (eco for eco-friendly, squared for square art) focuses entirely on square works of art made with upcycled materials by local artists. This year will be a massive show of upcycled artworks with nearly 120 pieces made by over 40 Wisconsin artists.

Hatch Art House will be hosting an Artist Reception to celebrate the opening of the 2024 EcoSquared Art Show on Friday July 12th from 5pm-8pm. 

EcoSquared will be open for viewing during store hours (Mon-Fri 11am-6pm, Sat 11am-5pm, Sun 11am- 4pm) from July 1st to August 31st.

Artists At Work 2024 – Employee Art Show

Our Employee Art Show, Artists at Work is back again this year for the month of May!

Hatch’s artist employees practice a wide variety of art styles, and Artists at Work will consist of a selection of works from each Hatch employee, including paintings, illustrations, fiber art, mixed media, and more! Hatch’s Employee Art Show will showcase the work of Tammy Schreiter, Erin Kessler, Liz Jones, Anna Koehne and Kaylee Gund.

Join the Hatch team for an Gallery Night reception held at Hatch Art House on Friday, May 3rd from 5-9pm. 

The show will run from May 1, 2024 to May 31st 2024 and will be open for viewing (and purchasing) during shop hours: Monday through Friday 11:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 11am-5pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm. Hatch is located at 1248 Williamson Street.
