Hatch Art House showcases a variety of Wisconsin artisans including a large variety of jewelry, pottery, glass art, textiles, greeting cards, prints, photography, paintings, sculptures…the list goes on and on! When you buy something from Hatch, you know it’s being made locally.
Hatch Art House is located at 1248 Williamson St in Madison, WI. We share the area with a wide selection of locally owned shops, which makes the Willy St neighborhood a fantastic shopping destination for both locals and visitors to Madison.
Tammy Schreiter first opened Hatch in 2010 and over the years, Hatch has maintained our mission to support local artists, emerging and established. Our gallery features only artists based in the state of Wisconsin, with an emphasis on affordable and upcycled art. We carry the work of 60+ artists, including fine artists, jewelry makers, and crafters, and the selection of work is always changing.
Our sister shop, Hazel General Store opened next door at 1250 Williamson in 2015 and a few years later we removed the wall between the stores to create two stores in one. Now customers can shop for locally made art and gifts on the Hatch side and gifts and homegoods from US-based makers on the Hazel side.
